About Konnects Kare
Founded on the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive
Our Mission
Konnects Kare, Inc. is a nonprofit, minority-owned organization founded in 2024 to address a critical gap in specialized care services for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Charlotte, North Carolina.
We recognized that many families in underserved minority communities lack awareness of available support services and face significant challenges as caregivers. Konnects Kare was established to provide not just daycare, but a comprehensive learning environment that fosters holistic development, promotes independence, and enhances quality of life.
Our name reflects our purpose: we create connections - connecting individuals to their community, to meaningful activities, to personal growth, and to a brighter future.
